USERS GUIDE TO PARIS FASHION WEEK
Bonjour et bon retour à tous!
This week we are hopping over to the sparkly city of Paris.
Home of the Eiffel tower (you heard it here first) and inventors of things most hedonists agree are ‘tres bon’ like, the baguette (I like mine avec a ton of beurre), the rotund macaroon and the art of making kissing on a pavement look classy and romantic (one I am yet to master).
There were so many collections I loved out of Paris Fash week this season that I just couldn’t include them all. Mostly because I am currently at one of my best friends weddings in Franschhoek, South Africa, and have been rather preoccupied! I did, however, manage to do a fairly good job of covering some of my all time faves, including a petite shout out to my idol Maria Grazia Chiuri (Artistic Director for Dior Women).
Side note: I went a little throw-back Thunday showcasing the Dior Cruise ‘19 collection just because I love it so much! So I hope you all interpret this as how anti-establishment we are here at THE X CARTEL rather than how out of touch I am since I landed in Cape Town and decided to place myself on a steady diet of wine and cheese… all in the name of research, swearsies!
Keep an eye out for JACQUEMUS’ new collection which is already up for preorder on M’oda ‘Operandi, (who we LOVE) as well as a touching moment between a giant-sized straw bag being reunited with her long-lost dinosaur baby.
